Well, after a night of smacking Blue aircraft over London we decided a change of pace was in order, so we hit Cherbourg Freya station. Two Blenheim Mk IVs escorted by a pair of Hurricanes and a pair of Spitfires, all followed up by a Blenheim IVF to admire our handy work. End result: Footage
EAF had a busy night on Monday with a raid of Heinkels over London. The road was originally escorted, but they were taken care of by 54 Squadron, leaving the bombers free to be engaged at will. EAF331_Stuntman and EAF79_OD_ pressed home their attacks to knock down a number of He-111’s before returning to base
This evening’s sorties saw EAF pilots Mikke and Mram attack a raid of Ju88s heading south from London and crossing the coast near to Eastbourne. While this was happening EAF79_OD_ was able to scramble and get a vector to intercept the remaining pair of Ju88s. Result 9 Ju88s shot down, 0 losses. Hi all, Storm of War is back with a bang tonight. Thursday and Sunday evenings are triple points for the Blue Team if they are able to attack and recon their targets within the event time (18:00-21:00GMT). This means a likely abundence of Blue Bomber formations ranging over the South Coast heading for their targets.
After a quiet patch to lick their wounds and have some time off at Christmas Blue relaunched their offensive against the Red Team yesterday. As you can see there will now be convoys in Storm of War…we’ll be defending convoys as well as airfields and strategic targets in this next campaign. There may also be movements of Blue invasion barges to look out for on recon missions. Things are looking promising for this next round. At least we’ll know
